The application timeline of the Turkish Citizenship by Investment is between 8 and 12 months depending on the investment type. The bank deposit option and private pension fund options take less time because all the investment procedures are done at the bank in a few business days and you get your certificate of conformity faster. If you choose property investment for Turkish citizenship, it takes more time because you need to find property, get appraisal report and get a title deed appointment.

Firstly, you need to get a Turkish potential tax id number and open a bank account in Turkey and it takes approximately 2 days. Bank account deposit option and private pension fund option for citizenship take a few business days as these procedures are completed in the bank. If you go with property purchase, it takes 2-4 weeks to choose the property, get appraisal report and get the title deed appointment. After the investment is completed, it takes 1-4 weeks to get the certificate of conformity for Turkish citizenship.

After you have the citizenship certificate of conformity, then you can apply to investor residence permit and then to Turkish citizenship. Applying for the Turkish investor residence permit and getting the residence permit card typically takes a few weeks. When you apply for citizenship, the file submission takes 1 day. After the file submission, the evaluation for the Turkish citizenship by investment takes 8-10 months. After it is approved, you can get your Turkish id card and passport in 1-2 weeks.
