Foreigners can apply to Turkish citizenship by $500,000 investment in the Private Pension Fund System. It is called Bireysel Emeklilik Sistemi in Turkish and its shorter version is BES.
The minimum limit of investment is $500,000 and you can't withdraw this amount for 3 years. If you withdraw investment before 3 years, your citizenship will be revoked.
There are many investment types in the Turkish Private Pension Fund System, such as gold, silver, other commodities, bond, stock exchange and foreign exchange. It has advantages over Turkish Lira bank account investment, because there are alternative investment types in the Turkish Private Pension Fund (BES) system. You can choose investments, create a portfolio and make changes in that portfolio.
The spouse and children (below 18 years old) of the investor can apply to the Turkish Citizenship by Private Pension Fund Investment.
