Many foreigners are asking if Dual Citizenship is allowed in Turkey. The answer is yes, it is totally ok for foreigners to keep their previous citizenship and current citizenship together. However, foreigners also need to doublecheck with their original citizenship for the dual citizenship.

If foreigner's original country allows dual citizenship such as UK and USA, they can keep their original passport along with their newly acquired Turkish Citizenship. Turkish citizenship by investment is very ideal for these types of clients as they can keep multiple citizenships.

Some countries don't allow dual citizenship such as China and Japan. If you are from these countries you might be required to drop your original citizenship after you acquire the Turkish citizenship by investment.

Also, some clients are asking if Turkey is reporting the Turkish Citizenship by Investment holders to their countries. To be honest, we don't know it. It is better to check it with Turkish authorities.
